Why the same mistakes keep happening
Your brain is borrowing from Spanish
When English does not give you the word or the structure fast enough, your brain takes the Spanish one. Linguists call it language transfer. Sometimes it works, because thousands of words are almost the same. The rest of the time it creates errors in three places, and they are the same three places for almost every Spanish speaker.
